1. Overview of Services

PeakTek Solutions provides custom 3D printing, design, and prototyping services (“Services”). Our products are made-to-order based on client specifications.

2. Quotes and Orders

• Quotes: All price quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the project scope or design files change.
• Order Acceptance: An order is considered confirmed only upon receipt of payment (or deposit, as agreed).
• Cancellations: Because our work is custom, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Cancellations made prior to production may be subject to a design/setup fee.

3. Returns and Refunds

Due to the customized nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns for “change of mind.”

Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or with significant defects (not including normal 3D printing characteristics), please contact us within 3 days of receipt with photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

4. 3D Printing Disclaimer

Please be aware of the inherent characteristics of FDM/SLA 3D printing technology:

• Surface Finish: 3D printed parts are created layer-by-layer. Visible layer lines, minor nubs, or texture variations are normal and are not considered defects.
• Material Properties: Unless specifically requested (e.g., ASA or PETG), many prints are made from PLA, which is heat-sensitive. Do not leave products in hot cars or direct sunlight for extended periods, as they may warp.
• Tolerances: While we strive for precision, standard 3D printing tolerances apply (+/- 0.2mm to 0.5mm depending on the machine).

5. Intellectual Property (IP)

• Client Files: You represent that you own or have the right to use any 3D files or logos you verify to us. PeakTek Solutions is not liable for copyright infringement regarding files provided by the client.
• Our Designs: If PeakTek Solutions creates a custom design for you, we retain the intellectual property rights to that design unless a transfer of rights is purchased. You are granted a license to use the physical product.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeakTek Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the specific order.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
